Soften the soap by adding a few drops of warm water a couple of minutes before use.
Use a shaving brush to gather the desired amount of soap, applying circular motions and gentle pressure to bloom the bristles.
Lather directly onto the face (face lathering) or in a shaving bowl (bowl lathering).
Apply to the desired area and proceed with shaving.
